Gaeliel Apostolou
As
a Kundalini Yoga instructor, certified by 3HO International Kundalini
Yoga Teachers Association- Kundalini Research Institute, Gaeliel focuses
on expanding her students’ individual consciousness with the
universal consciousness, to create a union. She chose to teach Kundalini
yoga because she believes it to be the most complete and swiftest way
of experiencing universal consciousness, as it is one of the most intensive
forms of yoga taught. Kundalini Yoga is a comprehensive technology
and science that incorporates mental focus, breathing (pranayama),
sound vibrations (mantras), postures or body positions (asanas), hand
positions (mudras), relaxation, and meditation to provide a more happy,
healthy and holy way of life. Through practice of these techniques
one can expand their personal connection to life, and raise their awareness
level of the role they play in creating their personal world. Kundalini
Yoga can help in developing and focusing the student’s attention
to complete the manifestations they desire. In addition, Kundalini
Yoga helps to reduce stress, increase flexibility, improve digestion,
strengthen muscles, relieve insomnia and many more benefits follow.
Gaeliel looks forward to helping her students increase their personal
awareness of creating the life they have always dreamed of, with the
guidance of Kundalini yoga. Sat Nam

Wendy Kingston
Wendy
has been immersed in the health and wellness industry for over 10 years – it
is her passion. She has always wanted to study in this field because
she knew all of her work would need to revolve around somehow improving
the quality of people’s health and well-being. She received her
physiology degree from the University of Arizona and, thus, for her,
teaching yoga just makes sense – a natural extension of doing
what she loves. She received her 200-hour training in 2004 but longingly
hopes to find the time to complete an additional training program.
In the meantime, she’s satisfied soaking up knowledge from other
teachers and students. She loves to travel, her two old labs, cappuccinos,
and snowboarding in Colorado (which is home). Her teaching style is
eclectic and fun – having learned and practiced with all different
styles of teachers. She simply tries to create a class that will leave
you feeling good – maybe slowing down just enough along the way
to listen to your own intuitive wisdom?

certification in 2001 at the Southwest Institute of Healing Arts and
in 2006 she became a certified Oneness Blessing Giver since attending
the Oneness University in India. Amy’s teaching philosophy is
to create a sacred space for healing, growth and awareness to emerge
and she does this by use of proper alignment principles, pranayama,
and mudra meditation. Amy believes that yoga should be fun and inviting
to all levels and it becomes visible during her instruction. Amy hopes
to bring light to your path.

Vision Yoga and is registered with the Yoga Alliance. Sports related
injuries from soccer led him to the practice of yoga; he has been teaching

it is for mind and body. Josh gears classes towards the healing of
past (and prevention of future) injuries, along with an exploration
of the connections between the physical, the psychological and the
spiritual. As a jnana yogi, he is drawn to any intellectual pursuit

Meet T'ai Chi Instructor Jake Zinn
Curious About T'ai Chi and Qi Gong?
In 1995 at the tender age of 31, Jake Zinn began experiencing work and stress-related stomach problems. During a visit to a walk-in clinic, Jake was given the advice that would forever change his life. After explaining his symptoms to the doctor on staff and a cursory examination, Jake was diagnosed as "pre-ulcer", and instructed to begin some form of meditation, deep breathing, T'ai Chi or Yoga practice as part of his rehabilitation. "I don't even remember that doctor's name," Jake adds, "but he probably saved my life."
On the doctor's advice, Jake decided to try the Chinese health practice of T'ai Chi, and enrolled in a class taught by Han Hoong Wang, the founder of the Michigan T'ai Chi Center. After just three weeks of practicing the movements of Han's Yang-style T'ai Chi form, the pain in his stomach began to lessen. Soon he had discarded his doctor's prescription for Zantac in favor of a four-day-per-week T'ai Chi practice.
Shortly after moving to Arizona in 1999, Jake would enroll in another T'ai Chi class, this time with wife Kathy and under the tutelage of Don and Tori Fiore. Studying with the Fiores, Jake and Kathy learned a very simple form of T'ai Chi known as "T'ai Chi Chih".
It was then that the seed of Jake's T'ai Chi teaching career began to germinate. "I loved [practicing T'ai Chi] so much," Jake says, "that I began to think how wonderful it would be if I could pass this feeling on to others. It was just something that I knew I wanted to do."
Jake and Kathy studied with the Fiores for over three years, learning not only T'ai Chi Chih, but two different "combination" T'ai Chi forms, "Tai Chi Kung" and "Crane Dancing Qi Gong". In the spring of 2004, Jake became a certified T'ai Chi instructor, and Kathy soon followed. Jake has been teaching T'ai Chi and Qi Gong for over three years in The Valley while he continues to study, expanding his knowledge of the health practice that saved his life. He is currently proficient in over seven different forms of T'ai Chi and Qi Gong.
